To satisfy the increasing requirements of process industry for reactions at low temperatures, Polaris has developed Temperature Control Units based on cryogenic technology for rector cooling. The process is based on cooling of an heat transfer fluid using liquid nitrogen as source of cold. The heat transfer is carried out on a special cryogenic heat exchanger designed by Polaris to obtain the best efficiency and solve the problem of formation of solid organic ice.
All details on how Polaris specialists combined the cooling and heating request in an integrated and cost effective solution are available in the complete pdf case study.
