Cryogenic Condensation and stripping, a winning combination for solvent recovery

Methylene chloride is one of the most common solvents used in the process industry. In this case it was present in both liquid and gas phase. A combined system to strip out the solvent from the water and to condense the polluted gaseous streams with a cryogenic condensation unit was proposed. The stripping unit had a peculiar lay-out developed by Polaris.

For overcome customer concerns on the system Polaris specialist performed a specific test, if you want to learn more about technology combination and pre-delivery tests download the pdf case study.

Key figures: High VOC abatement efficiency, low OpEx cost, solvent recovery possibility
